Operations / People Manager

Beyond Migration Ltd are a technology consultancy specialising in Mergers and Acquisition technology projects, IT Consultancy and Security Consultancy. As an Operations Manager, you will be managing a team of technical staff together with the Principal Consultant who oversees the technical elements of the team.

The Role

You are required to support the daily operations and administrative tasks of Beyond Migration Limited. You should be able to oversee and ensure smooth and efficient daily operations and have experience working closely and managing staff of different personalities. A great fit will have excellent organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, be self-motivated, thrive under pressure, and be able to manage a diverse range of tasks.

Key duties, but not limited too

  • Undertake, manage and report on technical project work
  • Ability to work across several customers.
  • Complete tasks within the time allotted
  • Being able to communicate with customers at all levels
  • Escalation point for technical queries
  • Technical SMEs for specific technologies
  • Team leading experience
  • Organising and managing administration of onboarding/offboarding employees, schedules, tasks, meetings, and other arrangements for staff.
  • Managing and updating client SLA’s and escalating as necessary.
  • Finding articles and business-related information
  • Responding to requests and enquiries.
  • Overseeing the delegation of tasks for internal staff and associates
  • Team audits and holding staff accountable for productivity targets
  • Managing training plan and materials for staff
  • Analysis of capacity and planning (i.e. staff productivity vs. customer demand)
  • Bridging communications between exec team and the rest of the company
  • Maintaining a positive and professional working relationship with all staff
  • Managing the maintenance of office and facility equipment (if needed).
  • Performing other duties as assigned
  • Organise HR related tasks such as annual reviews etc.
  • Organisation of social events and calendar

Knowledge and Experience required; (you must demonstrate this on your CV)

  • Have excellent operational management, organisation and planning skills
  • Have proven leadership and motivation skills
  • Demonstrate a commitment to nurturing and developing the talents of a team
  • Have excellent relationship management and communication skills; with the ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of audiences
  • Have proven skills in analysing, interpreting and presenting data and management information in a clear, concise manner for a wide range of audiences.
  • Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
